Reasons to be Cheerful

These poppy fields are a short walk from where we are moored. I love poppies. They are my favourite flower. Delicate but fiesty all at once. Wild and red yet fragile and short lived.

I left London and moved to the countryside to live beside views like this.

This lovely linky was dreamed up by  Michelle at Mummy From The Heart. I met Michelle in real life at a blogging conference last week. She was very nice. I was very cheerful - because of the free wine.

Reasons to be Cheerful.

1) Poppies
2) Free wine
3) My daughters

Love the pictures. You really didn't need to write anything after those.

Thank you Sheffy. Yes I did wonder whether to write anything at all! The poppies are just stunning.

Lovely photos, my new neice is called Poppy belle, when she is older I'd like to take to see the Poppy field. My favorite flower fairy is the Poppy fairy, you must have a little peek at her when you have a chance and if I see you in the summer, you will see her as she is framed in Issy's study. xxxx

Thanks for sharing those views with us. Poppies are poignant at the moment well always but made me think of the mistreatment of Forces families by the News of the World.
Free wine is always good and what a coup to meet Michelle in person.

I don't think I have ever seen a poppy field, oh what a sheltered life I must lead! Free wine is always something to be cheery about!

Now that's not going to help my resolve to not be impulsive and buy a boat, now is it!!! :0)

Lou, I would love the poppy fairy! Not seen that one yet. Poppy was high on our list of names when we had the girls.
Woollycraft, perhaps getting another boat is inevitable, but just not the right time yet...?! :-)
